A Simple & Welcoming Spring Table
When it comes to any holiday—or really any time we gather—I always go back to this: it’s not about perfection. It’s about people.
Sure, I love setting a pretty table and serving good food, but more than anything, I want our home to feel warm and welcoming. The kind of place where people linger a little longer, laugh a little louder, and feel like they truly belong.
This spring table is simple and sweet—just how I like it. It’s made up of pieces I’ve collected over the years through estate sales and thrifting, paired with our everyday dinnerware. A little old, a little new, pulled together with love. I added a few taper candles and a mix of real and faux florals for that soft, layered feel I always lean toward.
Whether you're hosting Easter brunch, a spring birthday, or just gathering friends around the table—this look is easy, unfussy, and feels like home.
And if you’re pulling things together last minute, I get it. I also grabbed a few extra pieces from Walmart.com or Amazon when I am short on time, and I’ve linked lookalikes in my LTK storefront in case you want to recreate the feel with your own spin.
But more than the setting or the menu, this season is about something far deeper for me.
Easter—and spring itself—is a reminder of new life. And the reason we have that hope is because of Jesus. He took our place on the cross, bearing the weight of our sin, so we could be forgiven. So we could have relationship with Him—not just someday, but today. Right now. So we could live in fellowship with Him, both now and for eternity.
What a gift.
So whether your table is set with vintage finds or paper plates, I hope you’re reminded that the most meaningful moments happen when we make room—for conversation, for connection, and for the One who gave it all.
Happy Easter and happy spring, friend—from our table to yours.
